“La Columna Rota” Frida Kahlo

"Wait, saved the anguish, the broken spine and look great. No walk in the vast lane, moving my life surrounded by steel."

As we saw in the movie Frida Kahlo, she began working on a series of masterpieces unprecedented in the history of art, paintings which exalted the feminine qualities of endurance face the truth, reality, cruelty and suffering, any woman has managed to put so much tortured poetry on canvas as Frida did.

In this painting reflects once again the suffering he knew all his life ... physical suffering and the other ... both in his paintings, his self-portraits, mostly painted in that bed with a kind of canopy over the bed that his mother sends build when Frida leaves the hospital with a large mirror as a sky so it can be and become his own model ... Finally his spine affected by the accident and that leaves marks on her body life.

Painting gives me a sense of sadness, as it reflects clearly how she felt at that time. With this gift so privileged that God gave him, and that their problems had to be condemned to a bed, just as his legacy will remain forever.

A life really exciting to study.
